An Ominous Dream

Towards the end of Reb Yitzchak Beirach’s life, when he was nearly ninety, it once happened that while he was sleeping, his wife and daughter Sosha Malka were alarmed to hear him sobbing as though he was having a bad dream.

When he woke up, he told them that in his dream, he had seen the Ahavas Yisrael, who had passed away not long before, and he had asked him to come to him, to be in his presence. Reb Yitzchak Beirach cried to him and expressed a desire to remain in this world.
