Reb Leib Hirsch Alter Daskal

Reb Leib Hirsch Alter Daskal was born in Massif to Reb Shmarya, and he married Sosha Malka. He was very close to the Imrei Baruch of Vizhnitz.

When he moved into his house, he wondered in which room he should affix the first mezuzah. He embarked on the long trip from Massif to Vizhnitza in order to ask the Rebbe what to do. The Rebbe’s answer was, “You should put up the first mezuzah in the room that is designated for the sukkah.”
