Today marks the anniversary of the founding of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in 5657 (1897).
“The tremendous kochos invested by the Rebbeim in Tomchei Tmimim remain deep within each student forever. Throughout his entire life, at his core he is a talmid of the Rebbeim.”

“The students of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim are the soldiers of Beis Dovid. Through spreading Torah with yiras shomayim and arousing others to do teshuvah, they will rescue Klal Yisroel from the enemies of Hashem and from those who ridicule the coming of Moshiach.”

“Each house can—and should—become a small version of Tomchei Tmimim, through Chassidus being studied there.”

- In connection with 15 Elul, the Rebbe encouraged studying the sichah of Kol hayotzei lemilchemes Beis Dovid, said by the Rebbe Rashab on Simchas Torah 5661 (1900).
- Additionally, farbrengens should be arranged in each place where there is a branch of Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim, attended by all the students of the yeshivah, both past and present. These farbrengens should be held with a big shturem, to the extent that we will be able to say that “there was no Yom Tov as great as the fifteenth day of Elul!”
