Question one:
Dear Rabbi Gruen, I would like to ask for some advice in shalom bayis. I know that the way things should be is for the wife to be the mekabel, the receiver, and the husband should be the mashpia, the giver. But I don’t understand how this can work when in practice the wife is doing everything — cooking, cleaning, washing, serving, etc., and the husband is on the receiving end all the time.
I’d also appreciate if you could give me some practical eitzos for better shalom bayis. Thank you.
Question two:
Dear Rabbi Gruen, I just have a short question. What can I do in my case, where me and my wife don’t have an emotional connection and what’s more, my wife doesn’t seem to care? Thank you
