There are many accounts of Yidden who were revived through this holy sefer. It is an incredible gift. Many people are stunned to see their unique problems written out in the sefer in specific detail. “How did the tzaddik know?” they ask in amazement. And the answer is, “It is because the tzaddik wrote with ruach hakodesh.” And just as the dilemmas are written there, so, too, are the solutions.
The words of the tzaddikim ignite souls, and they provide a true balm and answer to the soul’s dilemmas.
A person must remember that for all the darkness in the world, the Ribbono shel Olam arranged it so that a person should easily be able to open his eyes and turn over a page in his life. There are thousands of people who made the decision one day to “begin living.”
They had been mindlessly going through the motions of life—but one day they made the decision to live! They acquired a taste in learning and davening... a taste in Shabbos Kodesh, and so forth. But we cannot do this alone. The Ribbono shel Olam gave us the tzaddikim who illuminate our souls.
May the zechus of the tzaddik protect all of us and illuminate our neshamos so we will soon be redeemed from the long and terrible galus.
