There’s Purpose in Our Journey

Havineini | February 28, 2026

Every person goes through a carefully curated journey during his life. Once he was a fifth-grade student, then he was a bachur in yeshivah, and later he became a husband and father with worries and problems. Every stage of life is another step in coming closer to Hashem through this specific situation. All of them are mehalchim in attaining deveikus in Hashem.

When a person looks back at his life, he will recognize that the Ribbono shel Olam was always with him. If so, when new situations materialize, there’s no reason for him to lose his bearings. As much as things seem to change, they don’t really change: Hashem is always here. Everything is Him! Past experiences teach us regarding the present and the future. Once we recognize that Hashem is here from the beginning—that it’s all Him—we develop a feeling of closeness to Him, because we realize that He’s always there alongside us.
