The following laws apply if you forgot to make havdalah during Kiddush of the second Seder:
- If you remember before drinking the second cup of wine, do not make havdalah on a separate cup. Instead, make havdalah over the second cup (by saying Borei Pri Hagafen, Borei Me’orei Ha’eish, and Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol, and then drinking).
- If you remember after drinking the second cup but before eating the afikoman, make havdalah on a separate cup of wine. Say Borei Me’orei Ha’eish and Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol, but not Borei Pri Hagafen.
- If you remember after eating the afikoman, make havdalah over the third cup of wine (by saying Borei Pri Hagafen, Borei Me’orei Ha’eish, and Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol, and then drinking).
- If you remember after drinking the third cup, make havdalah over the fourth cup (by saying Borei Pri Hagafen, Borei Me’orei Ha’eish, and Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol, and then drinking).
- If you remember after drinking the fourth cup, make havdalah on a separate cup of wine (by saying Borei Pri Hagafen, Borei Me’orei Ha’eish, and Hamavdil bein kodesh lechol, and then drinking).
