On a practical level, there are multiple pathways of achieving this level. Yes, there are people who simply love Torah and spirituality. You can talk to them in any area of Torah, and they will appreciate it. But an average person must ask himself; “Which area of רוחניות pulls me and interests me?” If you enjoy hearing stories of השגחה פרטית—and you know that this is a mitzvah d’Oraisa—invest in this! If you hear stories, tell them over to others. If you have a few extra minutes, don’t scroll for news—look for another story of Hashem’s Orchestration of This World. Appreciate what you’re accomplishing by this. Understand that through this habit, you’re training your mind to think about Hashem constantly.
If you enjoy learning a certain sefer, make it a habit to peruse that sefer whenever you have a moment. The Jewish bookcase is overflowing with something for every Yid. There are so many spiritual things to which we can devote ourselves. We must choose something that appeals to our hearts, and we must turn to it whenever we possibly can. If you fulfill והיו הדברים האלה על לבבך, and accustom your mind to think these thoughts constantly, your mind will begin thinking good thoughts habitually.
