Practically, this man doesn’t have a dime in his pocket—but he is nevertheless overjoyed, for he has channeled all his assets into one great and precious treasure.
Similarly, a Yid who has merited deveikus in Hashem and has acquired love for the Ribbono shel Olam—he has gathered all his emotional resources and channeled them into one great treasure of love for Hashem—there is no acquisition like this in the world. This person will likely not care very much about acquiring matters of this world—because nothing in the world can compare to the preciousness of what he has. His heart is filled with this light—and when he arrives at his ultimate destination in the Next World, his reward will be with him.
