A smart person understands other people and forgives them. He isn’t a “hothead” who’s always getting angry and impatient with others. Maybe the Shevotim should have understood Yosef (and his grandiose dreams) that he felt left out, since he was a Yasom from his mother, Rochel; and because they were a big crowd, and they were older than him. Chazal call him: קָ טָן שֶׁ בִּ שְׁ בָטִּ ים the smallest of the Shevotim. When you see a person acting like a big shot, maybe it’s because he is younger and less capable or less intelligent or less Yichus, etc. and he needs to blow himself up in order to feel important.
An Intelligent Person Thinks and Understands and Forgives
An intelligent person thinks and understands and forgives. He isn’t a foolish person who doesn’t think and gets angry, like Eisav HaRasha.
