A Cure for Anger

Rav Refoel hired a melamed to teach his young sons. When they got older, he informed the melamed that he would be replacing him with a teacher who was more experienced with older children. The melamed got very angry about this and yelled, “I know all about your ‘frumkeiten’! I know all about your phony humility!”

Rav Refoel replied, “Oy! You have lived by me for so many years and I never knew that you suffered from the malady of anger. I have some valuable remedies for that.”
