The Indescribable Pain of Parents Who Endure This Bitter Nisayon

The Benefit of Coming Together

When parents come together to strengthen each other, it is never the words of a speaker who may impart words of wisdom that give strength. This isn’t how Yiddishkeit works. When it comes to ruchniyus, the Ribbono Shel Olam has designed it so that when Yidden seek him out, and neshamos come together for this purpose, one neshamah feels the other, and one neshamah sustains and feeds the other. HaKadosh Baruch Hu, the Torah, and Klal Yisrael are all one—we’re all connected on a very deep level, far deeper than any words spoken between people.

It is therefore a great nachas for the Ribbono Shel Olam when Yidden come together to search for Him. There’s a great beauty in this... and it is so holy and special and so very Yiddish when Yidden come together to strengthen one another.

The Most Painful Suffering Imaginable

Our generation is fortunate to have all sorts of organizations—addressing every type of need, challenge, and difficulty in Klal Yisrael. It is a great feature of organized Jewish life, and a major improvement over previous generations. When Yidden see that other Yidden suffer, they’re motivated to do something about it immediately, with heart and soul.
