Are You Impressed with Big Crowds?

You may be jealous of a larger family or Yeshiva than your own. Or when you are a Rav of 10-20 people, and your friend has 100. I have met people who couldn’t care less about quantity. If you are always in awe of quantity and it makes you feel small, look at the hundreds of millions of Arabs, or billions of Chinese Ovdei Avoda Zara (idol-worshipers). You don’t respect tiny amounts?

Look at Shimshon HaGibbor; just one man, who saved Klal Yisroel from thousands of Pelishtim. And even after he was Niftar, the Pelishtim avoided harming Klal Yisroel for 20 years. Shimshon is a lesson of how we should respect every Yachid (individual), especially ourselves!
