Reading His Mind:

Rav Boruch of Mezhibozh zy”a once told the Chozeh, “Since you are ‘the Seer’, can you tell us what we are thinking right now?”

The Chozeh answered, “A person’s mind is cluttered with many different thoughts. Try to think about only one thing and I will tell you what it is.”

They did this and the Chozeh said, “You are now thinking about the name ‘Havaya Bah.”

Rav Boruch replied, “What else would I be thinking of?” (That isn’t proof that you can read one’s mind, as it is obvious that a Yid is always thinking about Hashem.)

The Chozeh said, “There are 12 ways to organize the letters in the name of Hashem. You are thinking about the letters Havaya Bah in that order.”

Rav Boruch then realized that he had in deed read his mind.
