The Entire Shabbos is Rava D’Ravin

The Entire Shabbos is “Rava D’Ravin”:

Sefer Sifsei Tzedek writes: “I heard from the holy mouth of my grandfather (the Chiddushei Harim) zt”l, in the name of his rebbi, the Chozeh of Lublin zt”l, that this Shabbos is an auspicious time. The time of Minchah on Shabbos is a time of judgment but the holy Shabbos transforms the judgment to compassion. Therefore, it is called ‘rava d’ravin’. So too, this entire Shabbos does the same thing. This is a time of judgment and this Shabbos transforms the judgment to Divine mercy. Therefore, this entire Shabbos is called ‘rava d’ravin.’”
