The holy Alshich says that Hashem can easily support all those unfortunate people in your life; and the only reason He doesn’t, is because He wants to be M'zakeh you with a Mitzva of giving, since we’ll get tremendous Brachos for the reward of giving others. Imagine! All those people that you help in your life don’t really need your services and talents and money, etc., it’s all a favor for YOU when you help others!
