As a reward for the Yiras Shamayim of the midwives (Yocheved and Miriam), Hashem gave them: בָת יםַ “houses”. Rashi explains these בָת יםַ “houses” refer to: ת ַבַָיַכ ַהוּנַָהַוּהַַיַָו ַל ַ ת ַבַָוּיַמ ַל ַכוּת Kehuna, Levi’a, and Malchus. Why are Kehuna and Malchus the rewards of being afraid of Hashem? Rabeinu Yonah in Shaarei Teshuva says that a person can be boisterous for having Yiras Shamayim, Bitachon, and Dveikus in Hashem, as it says: A person shall not pride himself with his intellect, power, or wealth, rather let him pride himself with his knowledge of Hashem (i.e., closeness), which is what Hashem desires from His creatures. The: מ י ל דוֹתַ midwives had fear of Hashem and Bitachon in Him, so they weren’t afraid to disregard the orders of such a ruthless and powerful king; Aderaba: ו ת ח יֶּיןַָאֶּתַה י לָד יםַַאַיח they helped the babies thrive.
Yiras Shamayim and Bitachon go together. (Rabeinu Yonah). In the beginning of Shaar HaBitachon, the Chovos Halvavos says that a Baal Bitachon isn’t afraid to tell people about his Bitachon; just the opposite: ו ַהוּאַַ א ַפַָת ַמ ַרַ בוֹ he brags about it! And R' Elya Lopian Zatzal says that we see that a person is allowed to boast and be proud with his Middas HaBitachon. The reason is because the Baal Bitachon is giving Hashem all the credit (א פ ילוַּרָ שָׁ עַה בוֹט ח ַב ה'ַחֶּסֶּ דַי סוֹב בֶּנוַּ even a Rasha who has no merits can have Bitachon), so being a Baal Bitachon only shows how much you truly admire Hashem. (Iggeres Al HaBitachon).
The Reward for Yir'ah & Bitachon (Romemus) is the Romemus of Kehuna & Malchus
Kehuna and Malchus are both signs of Romemus and being high and great. In fact, Bigdei Kehuna were: ל כָבוֹדַ וּל ת פ אָרֶּ ת for beauty and glory, and: מֶּ לֶּךְַב יָפ יוַֹתֶּ חֱזֶּינָהַע ינֶּיךַַַָ ישעיהַלגַיז a Melech has to look beautiful. Both a Melech and a Cohen Gadol take haircuts often. (Gemara). Bitachon is also a Midda of Romemus. The Alter of Novardok used to sign his name ב"ב (B”B) meaning Baal Bitachon. He was proud of his Bitachon. Hashem has Nachas from people who are proud of the qualities He gave them.
