A True Leader Is Full of Compassion for Others

Chazal say that the reason Moshe was chosen to be the leader of Klal Yisroel was because he had compassion on a small: צאן sheep, which he carried when it was too tired to walk. We can also suggest that Klal Yisroel is called the: צאן sheep of Hashem, and a leader has to view people as sheep who are fragile and helpless and weak.
