The Yetzer Hara is a Chevra’man, and we have to imitate the: וְהַנָּחָשׁ הָיָה עָרוּם בראשית ג א sneaky “snake”, by being: עָרוּם בְּיִרְאָה ברכות יז א shrewd and cunning in Yiras Shamayim! I’ve seen rebellious and “not so nice” people come out ahead many times! הֱוֵי עַז כַּנָּמֵר Be bold as a leopard, and a: נָמֵר leopard is a lowlife Mamzer. So often a person would bring himself Yeshuos if he would “chill” and stop focusing on his “holy” Peckel. If he’d break the rules (even while he has loads of responsibilities) and take a complete break from the world of reality (of course with a Rebbe).
This “break” and not caring attitude in face of serious issues is a form of Bitachon, and I’ve seen many, many Yeshuos with all kinds of: הֶסֵּחַ הַתעַדַ distracting from the world of “reality”.
