Yiras Shamayim and Closeness to Hashem Brings a Person to Gadlus

A Mitzri isn’t used to looking upwards to Shamayim, and this is a Yeshua for him. It is also unique in that Moshe went up to Shamayim to cause the Makka. וַתְחַסְרֵהוּ מְעַט מֵאֱלקִּים תהלים ח ו An Adam is almost like Hashem Himself, since he has free will. וַיַּאֲמִּינוּ בַ ה' וּבְמשֶה עַבְדוֹ יד לא They believed in Hashem, and in His servant, Moshe. Hashem wants up to believe in our great powers that all mankind has, and Moshe is the epitome of Gadlus HaAdam.

The Alter of Novardok in Madregas HaAdam speaks about Yaakov Avinu, and how the whole Tevah (nature) of the world is: נִּ כְ נַ ע submissive to a Baal Bitachon. By Makkas Barad, Moshe was on top of Shamayim causing the Makka, to show a: דוּגְמָה model of the greatness of man, who uses his free will and how he rules the Tevah (nature).

Notice all the: קוֹלוֹת noises and fire inside the Barad. We can suggest that the: קוֹלוֹת noises cause Yiras Shamayim, similar to the: קוֹלוֹת noises of Har Sinai (לְבִּלְתִּי תֶחֱטָּאוּ יתרו כ יז) and the: קוֹל שוֹפָּ ר Shofar of Elul and Rosh Hashanah. And the Ramban says that you’ll have Yiras Shamayim from seeing this: אֵש הַגְדוֹלָּה great fire at Har Sinai.
