Shechem, son of Chamor (34:2)

A Yid once complained to his Rebbe about the great troubles he was enduring, and the pains he was suffering. The Rebbe listened to him, showed him great sympathy, and understanding, and told him as follows. If a Sefer Torah is missing the words of the name “Shechem Ben Chamor” of whom Yaakov Avienu and his family suffered greatly, the Sefer Torah is not Kosher! So too must every Yid know that all the trials and tribulations which Hashem sends to him, are all part of their Sefer Torah, and they will not be complete without it!
