The Most Extreme Evil Is Davka the Most Gevaldige Goodness

The image of the K’ruvim hugging each other should give us a sample and a picture of how our disappointments in life can be turned around to extreme Tovah. The hugging K’ruvim are a clear message of the most important Yesod on Tisha B’av in all Yiddishkeit: Gam Zu L'tovah! This is basic Emuna and Bitachon; that all evil is really good, and even the most extreme evil, like the Churban, is Davka the most Gevaldige goodness.

This is what all true Ovdei Hashem call “Aderaba”. אֶבֶן מָׁאֲסוּ הַבוֹנִּים הָׁיְתָׁה לְרֹּאש פִּנָׁה תהלים קיח כב The rejected and disgusting one becomes the main and most important part.
