We Are Tested If We Will Interpret the Things in Our Lives for Good or For Bad

אֶרֶץ אֹּכֶלֶת יוֹשְבֶיהָׁ שלח יג לב “It is a land that swallows up its inhabitants”. The Meraglim saw Canaanim dying all over the place, and they came to the conclusion that Eretz Yisroel is a dangerous country. Just the opposite was true! Hashem didn’t want the Meraglim to be detected by the Canaanim, so He had them preoccupied with many Levaya’s. We all have similar tests in our lives. To interpret things (and ourselves) L'tovah or L’ra’ah (for good, or for bad, Chas V'shalom). Will we insist on seeing the good in ourselves and in others and in our situation, or see bad, Chas V'shalom.
