Every Jew is called G-d’s “first fruits”. Every Jew must say, “The world was created for me.” Whereas everything in the world was created for a purpose, the Jew is the purpose! This applies to every Jew, even one who doesn’t know or observe Torah. The essential connection of a Jew to G-d draws the Jew to eventually observe the Torah. A Jew truly wants only to do the Mitzvos and distance himself from sins. Just as every Jew is important, every detail in a Jew’s life is important and must be done with the utmost care and holiness, as befits G-d’s “first fruits”.
