People Can Have a Yetzer Hara to Inflict Harm on Themselves

If a woman shall make a Neder which harms herself, her husband or father have the power to annul it. (Rashi). It is interesting how a woman can make Nedarim, and be extra frum and harm herself and others with Frumkeit, and the Torah has her father and her husband stop this. People can have the tendency to inflict harm upon themselves, and the Torah speaks about keeping this in check. Just like people feel proud about kamikaze suicide missions and Jihad stupidities, L'havdil, we all can have unhealthy tendencies for self-destruction.
