A Jewish Rosh Hashanah or a Goyish Rosh Hashanah

If you are all set for Rosh Hashanah, and you are loaded with anguish and fear and worry and concern, since you are heavily involved in your sins; this would normally be considered a superb sign; it means that you are a real and true person, who takes Rosh Hashanah seriously. As the Mashgiach R' Nosson Zatzal would say: “If only we had some Yir'ah!” Yet, you need to be careful. According to the Tur (in Hilchos Rosh Hashanah), this may be a sign that you are a Goy! And this is exactly not the way to enter Yom HaDin. How does a Yid enter Yom HaDin? He is happy and full of Bitachon that he’ll win!
