My Experience with Tefila
One day, I decided that I want my words to be tailor made for each individual, that he should hear exactly what’s good for him to hear. Within 24 hours, four different people told me that they were Nis'pael how they needed guidance desperately, and as soon as they turned me on, they heard exactly the perfect answer for their unique issue.
I speak and write a lot about Zikkui HaRabbim, since my Rabbeim want me to encourage more of it, but I feel uncomfortable telling people to do things that they aren’t up to. I davened that Hashem should help me with this. Within a short time, a Yungerman tells me that he heard me say that although I admire a certain person who has 150 guests at their Seder table; yet the person who can’t do that shouldn’t mind at all, since he learns Torah, which is plenty good.
I don’t even remember saying that, but: הֵ יאַ ךְ יָכוֹל הַ חַ י לְ הַ כְ חִ ישׁ אֶ ת הַ חַ י? ברכות כז ב I guess I did. The person who heard this is a big Ben-Torah and had loads of Chizuk from it. Look how everything you do and say is totally Min HaShamayim, and : ה' צִ לְ ךָ תהלים קכא ה Hashem is (like) your shadow. The more you are involved with Hashem, the more he shows you His involvement.
