I know loads of Yidden who can rightfully Pater (exempt) themselves from lots of the Avodas Hashem that they do, because of: אוֹנֵס רַּחְמ נ א פַּטְרֵיה ב"ק כח ב “an O’ness is Patur”, or they’re like a: תִ ינוֹק שֶּׁ נִ שְׁ ב ה לְ בֵ ין הַּ נ כְ רִ ים baby who grew up among the Goyim (who knows nothing about Yiddishkeit), or they had a terrible background, or are incapable to an extreme, like a: שׁוֹטֶּה (mentally handicapped) who is Patur (they simply don’t have the Kishronos (abilities) and Kochos HaNefesh), and yet, they strive to improve, and have pain for not achieving more. אַּשְׁרֵי חֶּלְק ם Fortunate is their lot! There is no end to their greatness and Zechusim. Yet, they need a Rebbe who can enlighten them to see the truth, and they’d be much happier and less depressed.
Did you know that if you once had a hard time with learning Torah, or Chesed, or Shviras HaMiddos, or Tefila, or Zikkui HaRabbim, or Ka'as, or Ta'avos, or depression, etc. and you broke through, and now it’s much easier for you, you will still get the same Schar for the rest of your life, as if you were always working overtime. (R' Yehoshua Heller Zatzal).
