An Evil Person Doesn't See Good Things in Life

And you are! A person who is not thankful, he is not real. He doesn't even see straight. All he knows is how to do is complain all day. He doesn't see good things in life. Such a guy, he's an evil person. So if he has a bad thought, that's him! He's a bad person, so the bad thought belongs to him. He fits in with that thought, because he's bad, and everything in his world is bad.

The thankful heart makes a Shpeil about the goodness in his life and remembers it

A thankful person is a positive person, so even if he has a bad thought, he is excused. “He's only human, he can't control his thoughts" So he had a bad thought; so what? Leave him alone! "That's not the real me! I'm a thankful type! I bring Bikkurim! The real me is happy” I didn't kill anybody (even though I may hate my father-in-law, or whoever else I hate in life. My brother, or my chavrusa, who is better than me in learning, or the neighbor who has a nicer house).

We leave you alone, because you are basically a thankful person. And by the way, the more thankful you are going to be, the less bad thoughts you are going to have.
