The Targum calls an Adam a: רוּחַ מְמַלֵּל (talking creature). Perhaps this is why by the Parsha of Tzora'as it says: אָדָם כִּי יִהְיֶה בְּעוֹר בְּשָׂרוֹ (Vayikra 13:2) If an “Adam” will have on his skin etc., and not “Yisroel”, since the basic Yesod of a human is his power of speech (like Hashem). The Tzelem Elokim has to be like Hashem and see only good, like Chazal say: "הַבְּקֵשׁ אֵיךְ לְהַרְעוֹת אֶל אֶחָד לְהַטִּיב" Hashem does not associate His name with bad, only with good. Hashem is total goodness, and He wants to see only good. So should an Adam be like Him. And when he speaks, it should be only good.
This is a lifetime job; i.e., to always look for good, despite people and situations that don’t seem that way, nevertheless, be Dan others and yourself L'kaf Zechus. And having Bitachon is also included in having a general positive outlook. The more goodness you try to see and speak and think, the more you bring Bracha to the entire universe. And Lashon Hara, even on objects or places (like with the Meraglim) brings Churban, Chas V'shalom. Even dwelling on your Aveiros too much can cause plenty harm, Chas V'shalom.
